Jesus Teaches About Giving - Matthew 6:1-3
June 4, 2023 #ThePentecostProject – Generation Alpha Class Leaders here are building a future on giving. In almost every culture, the cheerful giver seeks acceptance through an act of obedience.
In His temporal life, Jesus taught, “Be careful! When you do good things, don’t do them in front of people to be seen by them. If you do that, then you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. “When you give to the poor, don’t be like the hypocrites. They blow trumpets before they give so that people will see them. They do that in the synagogues and on the streets. They want other people to honor them. I tell you the truth. Those hypocrites already have their full reward. 3 So when you give to the poor, give very secretly. Don’t let anyone know what you are doing. Your giving should be done in secret. Your Father can see what is done in secret, and he will reward you.”
The lesson traces an historical perspective on giving, “Bring to the storehouse a tenth of what you gain,” back to its beginning. God’s Giving raises the bar for believing to “I can achieve whatever I believe I can achieve.” #TumeloFamily leadership draws on an established timeline that acknowledges KAIROS events on a believer’s chronological timeline. Time is distinguished as B.C., (Before Christ, sometimes BCE or Before Common Era) and A.D. (Anno Domini, Year of our Lord, sometimes CE or Common Era). A believer’s time has value – provision to do God’s will wherever one lives, learns, works and or worships.
Depending on what a believer chooses to believe, #TumeloFamily history may one day reveal 400 years of lost time between the Old and New Testaments of the Holy Bible. The research values famous last words such as, “But I will send Elijah the prophet to you. He will come before that great and terrible day of the Lord’s judging. Elijah will help fathers love their children. And he will help the children love their fathers. Otherwise, I will come and put a curse on the land.”
Chronology for nonbelievers is based on what is seen. The weather, for example, measures time in four seasons in Lesotho and the United States. Many Generation Z believers believe weather is being impacted by global warming. In Generation Alpha’s time, the world has committed you to 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development (SDGs). Climate action is 13 of 17. No Poverty is Goal 1.
The problems you face are real, but not necessarily the end. Each year, believers remember #SevenLastWords of Jesus The Christ. Any believer can know The Truth by lifelong learning about The Gospels (Truth) of Jesus The Christ, recorded in the New Testament books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
KEA LUMELA (I BELIEVE) two or more Generation Alpha believers will discover a calendar that considers Kairos events on a chronological timeline. On any given day, two or more believers can connect to the Power of Pentecost foreseen and promised throughout time.
